Creative Minx Marketing have buddied up with Konami to handle licensing and retail programs for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The long-awaited game finally releases next month, meaning it’s time for the hype machine to begin rolling. Retailers around Europe and North America will work directly with the marketing company to maximise the title’s potential to consumers.
“We are working with buyers to create additional product categories that haven’t been licensed out by Konami for the MGR franchise, or exclusive items they would like to promote across their specific stores,” said Creative Minx president Andi Riordan.
“We are also working with buyers, marketing and social community teams to create retail programs for Metal Gear Rising in order to create displays, in-store signings, online promotions, and concentrated and focused facings for the various retailers.
“This will create a more impactful launch for the licensed products and give more awareness for the game launch,” he concluded.
MGS: Revengeance will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 from February 22.
