Assassin's Creed 3 hits PC this week, new trailer

Assassin's Creed 3 is about to hit PC worldwide, and to prepare the minds of the Master Race for this event, Ubisoft has released a particularly lovely new trailer.

The third numbered entry (but fifth major release) in the Assassin's Creed franchise arrived on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October, and accompanies the Wii U at launch. Joystiq reports the action adventure unlocks on the US arm of Steam today, but we in Australia must wait patiently till tomorrow. The PC version will ship with all patches so far, which is quite a substantial update.

Assassin's Creed 3 apparently sold over 3.5 million units in its first week, topped the UK charts, and received generally favourable reviews, although Dave was a little disappointed in it.
