Dishonored reviews begin, get all the scores here

Dishonored reviews have broken out of embargo bringing with them a chain of impressively high scores for Arkane’s stealth-’em-up.

The deluge began as a trickle when CVG’s video review leaked ahead of schedule; the review called Dishonored CVG’s game of the year, and a once-in-a-generation release.

Now that the embargo has lifted, the critics are tussling for consensus and finding it right at the top of the scale. We’ll continue adding scores here as they arrive; let us know of any others you find in the comments section. All scores out of ten unless otherwise noted.

Dishonored launches on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 across Europe on October 12.

I hope this will sell like hotcakes. It really deserves it. I will buy it before i go for a ACIII or any of the other ‘milked out’ products. Cause lets be honest, they are.

Curse you, gaming industry!

I wanted to hold my order on this game to better times (i.e. when it becomes cheaper), until I’ve started reading reviews and then I found it at just 39 Euro with the Shadow Rat pack and a SteelBook and I just couldn’t say no ;_;

@57: indeed…but all those positive reviews mean nothing to a publisher if it wont sell well. i really do hope it will. those great reviews will probably help a lot though.

I still can’t see this selling well. I may be totally wrong but I can see a lot of people “not getting” what it’s about. Even I was tempted to hold out but then if you know me, that was just nonsense as I can’t resist buying anything that looks decent as soon as I hit the Steam page.

At this stage in a consoles life cycle, you really need to shove stuff under the noses of people for them to even care and I haven’t really seen that happening.
