Saints Row: The Third free weekend preload now available

Saints Row: The Third is going free-to-play on Steam this weekend, but although promo windows suggest you ought to be able to pre-load, there's some confusion as to how to get on board.

Steam community users have solved the mystery, though; you can find the pre-load in your purchase history.

Expect it to turn up in your library a little closer to the date; it looks like the ad might have gone live ahead of schedule.

Although the PC version has its issues, Saints Row: The Third is a thing we quite like; it's pretty excellent in co-op, too.
