Assassin’s Creed 3 has enjoyed a lot of reveals, art, trailers and interviews from Ubisoft Montreal’s Alex Hutchinson has teased that there is still so much more that the team hasn’t shown you, particularly what goes down in the first few hours of the game.

Speaking with Zoom In.TV, Hutchinson explained, “We’ve got a lot of secrets still, especially at the start of the game. There’s a couple of hours at the start of the game that we haven’t spoken about, that no one has seen, and I think you’re going to be really surprised – especially fans of the game and people looking for a strong story.”

We do know that the start of Assassin’s Creed 3 wil focus on Connor’s youth and how he becomes aligned with the Assassin Brotherhood, but the specifics are yet to be revealed. Also, where’s Desmond?

Here’s the interview in full:

    SPOILER of Assassin’s Creed Revelations

I think what they saying has nothing to do with Connor but with Desmond, in the end of Revelations they arrive at the place where the ancient stored their plans to save the world, so I think at this place there’s going to be this secrets. Assassins are everywhere in the world, so it’s no surprise that they were in America at the time

I hope this game ends all the mysteries from the other games that were left open. If a next game will be made I hope it have another character other than Desmond, he’s a great character but I think he will begin to get boring after all these games. I’d like to see a game in the era when the ancients were still alive.

So long as the sequel focuses on the French Revolution, I’m happy with whatever they do.
