First developer diary for Aliens: Colonial Marines released

SEGA has released the first developer diary for Gearbox’s Aliens: Colonial Marines. Its below. In it, Randy Pitchford and the rest of the team chat about the game, and discuss developing authentic aliens for the title. If you look closely at one point, you’ll also note female characters in the artwork shown. Whether they’re for MP or not, is unknown. Game’s out in February next year for PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360.

Aha! One shot actually shows artwork of a female character. Hope there are more of them.

I totally noticed that. Too bad more wasn’t shown. Maybe the petition did the trick or maybe they were always there? :p

@2: Well, they keep saying that they are fans of the series, so they must have been there from the beginning. Or at least planned from the beginning.

But honestly, i think they totally forgot to include them. At least in the multiplayer.

@1 A female character in the single player has been known for quite some time. Heck, she’s on the box art.

It’s the multiplayer lacking female avatars that was the problem.

I have my reservations, but i want to try it out, but i haven’t played an Aliens game and liked it since the actual Sega consoles lol.
