Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed to have over 20 characters, 90 different vehicle forms
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will contain 29 characters across all platforms, but rosters will vary due to system-exclusive characters.

Speaking on the official SEGA forums, Sumo Digital’s Steve Lycett said not all versions will have 20 playable “choices,” some will “drop down to the low 20′s, some instead have high 20′s.”
“Some platforms have characters that are unique to that platform. I’m not going to say which, that’s part of the fun of the reveals. Some are SEGA characters, some are not,” he said. “Playable choices doesn’t necessarily equal drivers either. Not as we’re talking passengers or hood ornaments, counting those would indeed be cheap, but you know this is game all about transformation, we are doing things with the vehicles that we’ve not shown you, that are going to really surprise you.
“Across all the playable vehicles, there are currently more than 90 different forms, and who said each vehicle was limited to a single driver… or indeed vehicle type per surface.”
Lycett said he realized he was just teasing everyone, but when a straight answer is able to be given it will be.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will release on 3DS, PS3, Vita, and Xbox 360 on November 16.

Let’s see if they transform enough so that there’s more than a shallow drifting mechanic to it.
Otherwise, approve.

My money is on Blinx, driving a time-warping vacuum cleaner making a appearance for the 360

Man, Blinx would be such a blast from the past
They should add Nathan Zachary and Jack of Blades too.
