Dear Esther tops 250,000 sales
Thechineseroom’s Dan Pinchbeck has announced on Twitter that unusual atmospheric adventure Dear Esther has passed a 250,000 sales milestone. “We always said we’d celebrate if we shifted 20,000,” the modest indie noted.
Dear Esther launched in mid-February, was profitable in under six hours, and shifted 50,000 copies in its first week. Pinchbeck is now working on Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs for Frictional Games.

I don’t, as I enjoyed the atmosphere and the idea of it.

#1 Most people that say things like that have never experienced the game. Either way, if it’s not your thing that is cool but I, personally, thought it was a great experience. And the soundtrack is amazing as well.

I bought it through the Steam sale. Haven’t installed it just yet, but I have been wanting to give a go. I may load it up this weekend if I get time.
