Video: Tomb Raider boss shows us Lara Croft’s first kill

Global brand manager Karl Stewart walks us through a young Lara Croft’s first steps with her soon-to-be iconic bow, including the first time she is forced to kill to survive.

Although Lara Croft is best known for another weapon – twin pistols – her struggle to master the bow is all part of the survival origin story Crystal Dynamics wants to tell with this franchise reboot. How does a person develop from an everyday joe to a serial murderer? Having the snot kicked out of them at every turn while stranded on an island in the middle of nowhere, apparently.

Tomb Raider is due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early 2013.

One’s skill should upgrade the way they play and not by assigning magical points to the abilities/attributes.

If someone runs all the time, his/her agility/move speed should adjust to it. If someone fires a gun very often then his aim should be better than original etc.

Why do they have to act like it’s some sort of “simulator” when it just follows the same old boring and inappropriate mechanics?
