Thatgamecompany has raised $5.5 million in funding, which will allow it to start releasing games on platform'd other than Sony, its partner over the last three game releases. Co-founder and creative director Jenova Chen said the funding will allow the future creations to appear on more platforms, now that the release of Journey finished the studio's deal with Sony.
