Pid release secured through D3 Publisher
D3 Publisher has stepped in to help out with the Xbox Live Arcade launch of indie platformer Pid. Celebrate this news with a trailer through the break.
It’s been quite a while since we last heard about Pid, so just to remind you, it hails from veterans of Grin, a sorely missed Swedish studio responsible for Bionic Commando: Rearmed.
Might and Delight expect the game to launch through XBLA in August, with PC and PlayStation 3 launches to follow.

Stuff like Pid, Dust – An Elysian Tail, Mark of the Ninja, Deadlight and so forth are considered small downloadable games but in reality are rather promising, interesting and worthy titles that have kinda stolen AAA’s thunder.
Seriously, almost half of E3′s best was made of these middle range games. Not like super small PC indies and not like super big budget AAA releases.
