Assassin’s Creed III now available for pre-order on the PS Store

Sony has announced you can pre-order Assassin's Creed III through the PS Store, as well as incentives for doing so.

When you pre-order the standard edition of the game, through the store or at retail, you will receive the exclusive single-player mission A Dangerous Secret where you’ll fight against "a secret that could jeopardize the founding of the revolution."

If you pre-order the Assassin’s Creed III Gold Edition, it also includes the A Dangerous Secret mission as well as a season pass for exclusive discounts on future content. It will run you £109.99.

Now, should you decide to pre-order through the PS Store, here's the list of extra benefits you'll get, which apply to most game pre-orders through the store:

  • Pre-Order Offers: Many pre-orders come with exclusive discounts, offers or additional content at no extra charge.
  • Auto-Download: Pre-orders will auto-download to your console in advance of the official release date: meaning there’s no waiting to play on release day.
  • Pay Later: When you pre-order on PlayStation Store you don’t pay anything up front. We’ll charge your wallet a few days before the official release date, giving you plenty of time to save up for your next favourite game.
