Tomb Raider confirmed for March 5, 2013 release

Tomb Raider will launch worldwide on March 5, 2013, Square Enix has confirmed at the end of the series's reboot E3 gameplay trailer.

It's the first sighting of gameplay of the Crystal Dyanmics reboot since it debuted at E3 last year.

The first-half of the trailer showed off parts of the demo that aired last year, before the second half showed Lara and her fellow shipwrecks against a group of antagonists.

Tomb Raider was due to launch this coming autumn, but was recently delayed into early 2013 to give it more polishing time.

The game will come to PS3, 360 and PC. It'll get another airing at the Microsoft press conference on Monday.
