Quick shots – Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition
Screenshots for the Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition are posted below. The PC version will also be released on Steam, and the extra content included with it, called Artorias of the Abyss, will land on PS3 and Xbox 360 this winter as will the Prepare to Die edition, which hits PC August 24.

Will be released on Steam, yes obvious statement is obvious :-/ . Will it use Steamworks instead of GFWL though?

Everyone just reads the words ”Steam” and ”Dark Souls” in one sentence and think it’s okay now. Hell no, it’s totally not okay if you need 2 DRM-Systems at the same time.

He isn’t complaining about steam. He is talking about if Dark SOuls on the PC will not only use steam with another DRM like GFWL.

could someone PLEASE clarify if the Prepare to Die Edition will be retail also for console outside Europe and Australia???
