Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City hits 2 million shipped worldwide

Capcom’s announced this morning its shipped 2 million units worldwide of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. The Slant Six shooter launched at the end of March in the west and the end of April in Japan, but was critically slammed, hitting 52 on MetaCritic on both PS3 and 360.

Have you played it? It’s an ugly and bugged, but still fun game. At least I had good time with it.

Its an average co-op shooter, nothing more.

If this got 4/5 out of 10 Left4Dead deserves 6/7 because they are much the samething. Get a bunch of friends and it becomes rather fun.

I tried it for 50 min or something and it wasn’t anything near fun. I didn’t find any serious bugs but the actual game was a mediocre third person shooter at its best moments and a really bad one for the rest of it. Shooting zombies didn’t feel one bit fun. Seriously, it was like shooting steel doors.
Slant Six, try to learn from Left 4 Dead.

I tried it and holy damn… It is worse then their last SOCOM efforts.

Brand is the only thing that will keep it selling.

I know brand is the only reason RE ORC sells. I was saying that to #3 who said Raccoon City is fun. A fun Zombie killing game is L4D, not RE ORC.
