True self: Atlus confirms Persona 4: The Golden for fall US release
Atlus has confirmed it’ll release Persona 4: The Golden in the US for Vita this fall.

The company is set to release the expanded RPG in Japan on June 15, but was never announced for a western release until now.
The Golden will feature an expanded story that featured in the PS2 release a few years back, including the introduction of new character Marie. Also added are new anime cutscenes, a new online rescue feature and 1.5x more dialogue than in the original.
Golden’s release will come after the launch of Persona 4 Arena this August on PS3 and 360 in the US. A European publisher for the fighter or The Golden are yet to be announced.
Thanks, GAF and Ron.

Thank God for importing. I just placed an import order on the Famitsu special edition from Japan last week, but I’m gonna double dip for the English version from the US.

I would love to import it but I don’t think I could stumble through an RPG in Japanese. I can’t wait for this, the Vita needs some great RPG’s. I’m loving Disgaea but would like something a little different, this and FFX should vill the void nicely!

Time to make some funds to get myself a Vita then.
If Ghostlight can’t release it to Europe, I think I’ll get this one.
