Mass Effect: Paragon Lost teaser gives a closer look at upcoming anime

Get a better look at some behind the scenes teasers for the upcoming Mass Effect anime through the break.

The assets in this video were shown at SXSW but have been set to the Mass Effect 3 score in a smoother, HD sequence here.

Mass Effect: Paragon Lost is the work of Production IG, the team behind Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Patlabour and Eden of the East, and is being produced by Funimation.

BioWare was involved in the plot, which concerns James Vega of Mass Effect 3. No firm release date yet, but you can keep an eye on the project’s website.

Urgh! Art-style: fail. Lead character choice out of all the diverse and interesting characters in the Mass Effect series, FAIL.

Horrible.

Exactly! One of the worst characters in video game history. I don’t understand why Bioware went out of their way to create such an abomination of a companion.
