Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition hitting iPad alongside PC version this summer
Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition will be released on iPad this summer courtesy of Overhaul Games. It will launch alongside the PC release and include the same improvements as well as the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack all running on the Infinity Engine. This also includes the new story content, extra quests and a new member to the party. No exact date just yet.

Doesn’t this raise a lot of questions though?
If you combine all the mods that have been provided by the community, you’re looking at a severely enhanced version of Baldurs Gate already.
I’m kinda waiting for something to let me know how this is any different from that. The modders have done a truly great job keeping the game alive and running, even through the dark age of Vista (!!!), improving it and completing unfinished content they’ve found in the code.

That’s pretty damn enhanced. It’s still the same engine in this case, so what’s going to set it apart?
