Cage to showcase new Quantic Dream tech at GDC

Quantic Dream’s David Cage will show off brand new tech from the studio at GDC in nearly a month’s time. The tech, which will be used in what’s coming next from the company with publisher Sony, will be shown as part of an hour-long talk that will see Cage also focus on performance capture, art direction and virtual actors.

As much as i enjoy Heavy rain, i hope this time the put some effort on more playing time, in the tradional sense of the word, sometimes i feel that heavy rain was an step back compare to Indigo Prophecy, in other areas was an step further, but i did wanted more tradional playing mechanics intwertined with the great story.

@2, i agree completely.

I liked Indigo Prophecy much more because i felt like i was playing, but at the same time cut-scenes and some moments were much better in Heavy Rain.

also, i hope for the engine improvements because previous one was barely 30 frames per second.
