Yakuza's Kazuma Kiryu playable in Binary Domain's multiplayer

Kazuma Kiryu of Sega's Yakuza series will be a playable multiplayer character in Binary Domain.

When playing on the side of the government, he'll be sporting his signature suit, and when fighting on the side of the resistance, he'll sport a bandanna and be shirt-less in order to show off those famous tattoos.

"Since this is from the Yakuza team, after all, we figured we'd offer this as a present and as a symbol of the spirit we're putting into this," producer Toshihiro Nagoshi told Famitsu (via 1UP).

"Some people may see him as too out-of-place in this near-future setting, but the game is set in Tokyo, after all -- I don't think it'll feel that strange. I hope you have fun having him go crazy on people."

Binary Domain is out in mid-February for PS3 and Xbox 360.
