Konami dates three Silent Hill games for Q1 2012

Untroubled by piling all its eggs in one basket, Konami has scheduled three new Silent Hill games in close succession.

Destructoid reports the Silent Hill HD Collection is first off the bat, bundling Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 in one virutally upgraded package. It's due January 24.

Konami will release Silent Hill: Book of Memories the following month, to coincide with the Vita's launch on February 22.

Finally, March will deliver Silent Hill: Downpour, considered the next core entry in the series. Downpour, which is being developed by Czech studio Vatra, was expected to arrive by northern winter but was pushed back. It should appear on both PS3 and Xbox 360.
