UK charts: FIFA fends off RAGE, Dark Souls

Despite sales dipping from launch week, FIFA 12's held off new Bethesda and id IP RAGE and Namco-From Software hardballs RPG Dark Souls from the top of the UK charts.

FIFA's sales were down by 68 percent from release last week, but was still 13th in the all-time weekly unit sales ever tracked.

RAGE sales were dominent on 360, comprising of 58 percent of sales to PS3's 32 percent. No numbers for the PC version were announced.

Dark Souls entered third to strong sales on PS3 with 58 percent to 360's 42 percent on the platform breakdown. There was no comparison on sales for how the PS3 version of Dark Souls compared to Demon's Souls, though.

Top five is rounded off by Gears of War 3 and F1 2011.
