Shame he’s nothing like the Joker from Brian Azzerello’s Joker One-Shot.

@2: Nope, he’s the child cartoon joker.

Mark Hamill is far better than any Joker for voice acting. I wouldn’t even touch this game if it didn’t have Mark Hamill like the original game.

@6: He’s annoying. He never surprises me with his voiceacting, you can always tell how his next sentence is going to sound like. That’s exactly how the Joker should not be. He should always surprise people and keep them on the edge.

You just think he’s great because there haven’t really been that many Joker’s. For example, i actually prefer the german voiceactor, who manages to make him sound way more dangerous than comical. His laugh is also superior.

I have watched plenty of Batman ANimation that did not have Mark Hamill and none of them compare to him. And WB at one point were going to have him do the voice for the movie if Heath Ledger didn’t match what Christopher Nolan wanted.

As I said I wouldn’t touch this game if they had changed voice actors for Joker from the original. Rocksteady wanted the 90′s Batman Voice Actors because that’s their focus and fanbase and they got most of them. I am all for it.

@8: Well be prepared not to buy the next-next Batman game then. Mark Hamill won’t reprise his role. His voice is just too cartoony for me. I think a new voiceactor who tries to do his own version of the joker, instead of trying to fill in the shoes of Mark Hamill, would have a good chance at giving a great performance as the joker.

Mark Hamill’s Joker just isn’t up to date.

Thats fine. You don’t have to have Joker in every game that involes Batman. But there is a reason why Rocksteady or WB pay Mark Hammill 10k per day of work and its not just cause of his name. Just saying.
