Report – Deus Ex second biggest-selling game in UK during August

MCV‘s reporting that Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the second biggest-selling game in the UK during August.

This is despite going on sale within the final two days of Chart-Track’s tracking period for the month, July 31-August 27.

But number one for the entire month was – who else – Zumba Fitness, which was bumped down to second in this week’s UK charts following the Eidos Montreal reboot’s release, which came in at number one.

    It’s the highest seller in a low numbers market. It’s mainly due to fatty women buying it instead of, or supplemental to, the real zumba classes.

    Look at the crap in the rest of the chart. No gamer buys that shit. If you look at the chart as ‘what people buy while doing their grocery shopping in Tesco’ then it makes sense.
