Who asked for Deus Ex to cross over with Final Fantasy Brave Exvius?

Get your "I didn't ask for this" jokes out of the way now, because Deus Ex protagonist Adam Jensen has joined the heroes of Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was a pretty solid game, but sadly didn't do well in sales, prompting Square Enix to give the franchise a break. But that doesn't mean Adam Jensen can't be featured elsewhere, which is why he's appeared in Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius.

As reported by Eurogamer, Jensen and other augmented characters have joined the cast of Brave Exvius - in sprite form, of course. Viktor Marchenko, Vaclav Koller, and Frank Pritchard are all included by a featured summon.

It seems this expansion will let players join Task 29 to face the Mechanical Ogre raid boss. The Deus Ex heroes will be included in Brave Exvius until September 5, 2018.

You know, those sprites don't look half-bad. Maybe we could have a retro Deus Ex JRPG while Square Enix decides what to do next?
