Microsoft plans on monthly XBLA Kinect releases

Microsoft plans to ramp up its XBLA release schedule, and for Kinect to play a significant role.

Xbox Live product marketing manager Robin Burrowes told CVG we can expect "far more" Xbox Live Arcade exclusives in the future.

"Talking more specifically, expect to see more from us as Microsoft studios as we leverage the power of Kinect; expect to see a number of Kinect Arcade titles coming," she said.

"We're targeting a frequency of about one a month from the Xbox Live Arcade portfolio that will have Kinect integration. That will really be powerful and differentiate the platform."

Burrowes commented that players can also expect a continuation of core-focused XBLA releases - especially sequels.

Thanks, Shack.
