PlayStation Store officially returns in Japan

Our incredibly large Japanese reader base will be thrilled to hear that their magical portal to the PlayStation Store has finally re-opened.

Andriasang has an image of the store's glorious, phoenix-like resurrection - a one thousand word value, yours free if you act now. Or whenever you feel like it. Or never, honestly.

Anyway, this more or less marks an end to Sony's recent series of unfortunate events, wherein hackers sneaked right past PSN's figurative single sleeping mall cop and made off with a treasure trove of personal information.

Meanwhile, the PS Store made its triumphant return elsewhere early last month, so this has been a long time in coming.

Now then, your "Thanks and Apologies Package" awaits.
