Original Everquest gets recruit-a-friend program

Saturday, 2nd July 2011 20:48 GMT By Andrew Groen

For those of you who still play the original Everquest you’ll now have an opportunity to get friends in on the action with Sony’s new recruit-a-friend program

People who participate in the program are said to gain a load of free stuff from in-game cash, to exclusive mounts, bonus experience, and a wealth of other items to help make your continued stay in Norrath just a little bit more pleasant.

This move comes just days after World of Warcraft went free-to-play and Rift decreased its price to just $5. Perhaps Everquest is making one final stab to hold onto its long, full life.

Dear Sony, please make next Everquest 3 like Everquest 1 and don’t fuck it up like Everquest 2.

For start, don’t make it PC, PS3. Make it PC only and use full potential of the platform and you will get yourself a second popular mmo like WoW.

I still have my old account in Everquest. Such a fantastic experience for it’s time.

Everquest II was good too, until some shitty balance issues, bad support and non stop stupid addons.
