How to get into the Journey closed beta

Tuesday, 28th June 2011 00:27 GMT By Andrew Groen

Are you one of the thousands of people who are clamoring for a chance to get into the Journey multiplayer beta that will be coming out months before the release of the game? Well, hurry up, there’s not much time. You have until 7:00 Pacific US time to email the company and ask.

If you were one of the select few people who were both an early adopter of thatgamecompany’s previous game Flower as well as a PlayStation Plus subscriber then you only have one chance left (if you were then you should check your messages as an invite may be headed your way.)

You need to send an email to, and it needs to reach them by 7:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (GMT -7.) Thatgamecompany has not announced how many total people they will be selecting for the beta, but it probably isn’t many considering how selective the first round of invites was.

To my mind, this is the “most exciting beta” today. I’m kind of guessing most people won’t agree, though.

So it’s a closed, invite-only affair? My PS+ sub doesn’t help at all then?

My anticipation for this (and Dark Souls) couldn’t be higher!
