Witcher 2 producer Gop exits CD Projekt RED – details

Senior producer Tomek (Tomasz) Gop has left CD Projekt RED, and apparently the games industry.

Gop, who served as producer on the lauded RPG The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, made the move public on his LinkedIn profile.

The developer had been with CD Projekt RED since early 2006, and had worked as a producer on the first Witcher game as well as taking a senior role in the development of CD Projekt’s proprietary RED Engine.

Responding to our queries, CD Projekt’s Lukasz Kukawski said he’d heard Gop had left the games industry entirely, and could not provide contact information.

Gop hasn’t yet listed a new position. Best of luck, dude.

Thanks, Gamespot.

He speaks to Nathan one day and quits his job the next. I think these events are connected.

Kinda surprised about this, he’s not helping with TWII on 360?
