Diablo III beta details expected in tonight’s Acti call
Quick note: Activision is expected to reveal details of the Diablo III beta tonight, when the company delivers calendar 2011 Q1 financials. Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime promised he’d shed light on the test in the firm’s last investor chat in February. Diablo III has no release date as yet, but it’s hoped it’ll ship this year. I’m confused by the article, it suggests that Activision is going to reveal the Diablo 3 Beta, but it also suggests that it will be Blizzard that does it. Now which is it? One of those two or is it Activision Blizzard as a whole, because if it’s just one of the departments it kindda has to be blizz that announces it, since well tbh, Activision doesn’t really make quality games, like Blizz does x)

Bingo, its for the company as a whole. Its for the investors to tell them how well they have done so far and what is going to be released in the future to ensure the investors money is being well used.

So this means that maybe next year we are going to see this game on retail, i hope for, keep fingers crossed, i never played a diablo game before, but some people told me that torchlight was a lot like diablo, and i love torchlight, therefore this makes this news great for me.

There was a leaked release table for all of Blizzards game and it said D3 would release in Q2 of 2012.
