Well, they seem to be going for the ‘cramming the screen with as many zombies as possible’ tact and the general look of the visuals, combined with what we know about the game already, certainly in mind at least, draws initial paralells with L4D.

They made the PSP SOCOM games, which were good; they have some chops. I’d imagine the PS3 SOCOM was a fluke.

I’ll be down with this game if they manage to tie it into RE2+3.

I’d love to see wink and nods back to the events of those games.

anyway yeah to echo blerk i cant tell much from that apart from normal zombies are back in it

and it’s obviously made on the SOCOM engine. So expect a much shittier visual quality then in Resident Evil 5.

Yeh im lookng forward to hunting down survivors and shooting zombies in the head. Being on Umbrellas side is a nice twist. Mabey if I kill Leon RE4 won’t happen lmao, not got much love for that one.

Yeh I think the whole ‘change resident evil history’ thing is a bit stupid, I think the previous story should be set in stone. Ive always wanted them to continue the main story about how umbrella was brought down say from like 98/99 forward. When RE4 came out it jumped something like 8 years forward, Umbrella was already dead and Leon was *face-palm* working for the president. I want to know what Chris was doing in europe after the Raccoon city disaster(RE3 epiloges), what Jill and Carlos did after escaping the city and what Chris and Claire did after Code Veronica.

Its all there already.

Carlos went off and got killed. Claire went away and made a shitty CGI movie and Chris punched rocks.

It has melee, Gears kill moves and strafing. Pretty happy with that and I very much doubt any of you played Outbreak in the first place.

Wow, who would have thought that one day Resident Evil would rip off L4D? I mean, RE is considered the father modern survival horror. It’s like making a sequel to the movie Godfather and making it a rip off of “The Departed”.

How long before they finally remake RE2 ala RE1 gamecube remake style…

I’d pay full $60 for that quite literally.
