Hudson Soft to be Konami’s social network gaming arm

The ultimate fate of Hudson’s development division, Hudson Soft, seems to have been decided. The Bomberman developer will focus on social network games.

Andriasang reports 40 Japanese jobs will be cut as part of the restructuring, through a voluntary redundancy process.

Hudson Soft’s Californian arm will close shortly, shelving three in-progress projects.

Hudson Entertainment is in the process of folding into parent company Konami.
