Devolver Digital to announce “secret indie titles” at PAX East next month

Saturday, 19th February 2011 17:04 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Devolver Digital has tweeted that the firm plans to announce “some secret indie titles,” during PAX East 2011 next month.

Here’s the tweet: “We’ll be at PAX East showing off some secret indie titles that will melt faces. Come and find us!.”

The firm’s co-founder Mike Wilson told BigDowload that he “can confirm we’ll be there, but the secret indies are indeed… Secret. For now, anyway.”

Devolver Digital was formed by Gamecock and GOD games founders Mike Wilson and Harry Miller back in 2009, and are the publishers behind Croteam’s Serious Sam HD games on digital platforms.

PAX East takes place in Boston March 11-13.

So, PAX is the new home of returning Run n Gun heroes? First Duke Nukem Forever and now Serious Sam showing up at PAX events. If only People Can Fly had the rights to Painkiller to announce a proper sequel during next PAX.

@1 They never said Serious Sam was the title. That is the game they are currently involved in publishing as far as our knowledge goes.

The third SSHD is slated for release soon, so, one and two have been out a while.

I would love to have the original Serious Sam Encounter games (not Serious Sam 2, which was SHIT… S-H-I-T, stupid jokes and nothing like the first two) in 1080p in a single Bluray disc on my PS3 with lots of trophies, clever physics and online gameplay. It would be cool… But JUST THE SAME GAMES REMASTERED, extra levels maybe and extra stuff, but just the same games, not a new stupid Sam like Serious Sam 2 which practically killed the franchise… stupid voice of that Cortana’s clon, stupid jokes Sam said, even Homer Simpson’s “d’oh”… NO, NO, NO, NO. Sorry, I’ll shut up now.
