Fable III being shown running on PC at CES 2011

Those attending CES who happen to stop by the Microsoft booth will be in for a treat, as Fable III is on-hand and being demoed on PC.

While seeing the game being played on PC is not really something earth-shattering or confirmation it's ready to be shipped for the platform, it hopefully gives you an idea of what it  will look like when it is finally released on PC.

Earlier this week, Lionhead said the SKU would "hopefully" be on the way "soon".

The firm announced in May last year that the PC version of Fable III would release day-and-date with the 360 SKU in late October. As of November 2010, the developer said Fable III on PC was "still in development" and for PC gamers not to "panic".

Soon, then. Hopefully.
