Deus Ex: GOTY PC 80 MS points at GFWMP

Friday, 3rd December 2010 12:19 GMT By Johnny Cullen

deus ex

Deus Ex. 99 cents. 80 MS points. Done.

Games for Windows Marketplace is offering the Game of the Year PC edition of the original Deus Ex for 80 MS points, or 99 cents in real money.

Get this. Then get pumped for Human Revolution next year. Get a move on, though, it’s only on for another couple of hours.

Microsoft plans to have a title at the 99 cents/80 MS points mark every day between now and next Wednesday.

Also on offer if World of Goo for $4.99 as part of its Deal of the Week. Get that here.

Thanks, Shack.

I paid £2.99 for both Deus Ex Games off Steam last week.

tbh I’m pretty happy to pay more to have things on Steam when the margin is that small *remembers massive headache buying/downloading FO3 dlc from GFWL*

Anyone who hasn’t played this game MUST buy this, you have NO excuse.

99 cents is a pittance for the greatest game ever made! :D

I’ll also point out that you can download HD texture packs and DX10 renderers that help make the game look a bit less dated. The lighting by the dx10 renderer is particularly helpful.

@8, I got it running on Win7, so Vista should be fine.

This website has a handy launcher to get it running in widescreen properly, also has guides etc to get it all working with other stuff like DX10 renders and texture packs etc.
