See? This is why you follow the Bilsonator on Twitter.

THQ studio chief Danny Bilson’s confirmed on Twitter that THQ is to soon announce a core Kinect title.

No date has been given for the announcement, and there’s no detail.

Fingers crossed this’ll be a VGAs affair: the awards take place on December 11, and Bilson’s already confirmed that Pan’s Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro’s THQ game will get its first airing at the event.

And that’s rumoured to be some kind of epic sci-fi trilogy.

Mass Effect in a weird maze with Kinect at the VGAs. Heard it here first.

Bilson’s also said that two core Move titles are also on the way from the company, one of which is a mix of the PS3 motion controller and 3D (thanks, typeface and Gekidami).

It won’t be sci-fi in the Mass Effect sense. More a Gothic horror sci-fi in a Lovecraftian style.

He’s also said there’s 2 core Move games coming out and one Move+3D game coming out in a subsequent tweet.

If they are building a game from the ground up for 3D it might be good, though the experience might not fit regular consoles just like how some films made for 3D seem weak in terms of FX and the like for regular screens. (I don’t mean tacked on 3D of course e.g. Clash of the Titans).

Move works with core games, even fps (like MAG http://au.ps3.ign.com/articles/111/1117588p1.html ) but as this article states, while it works, the gamepad would generally win in a competetive game (such as a mouse would typically win over a gamepad) But compared to a mouse & keyboard, i prefer the gamepad, feels ‘right’ for me, but that may have more to do with the 8 direction limitation with the keyboard, not sure with that though.
I just don’t have ‘twitch reflexes’, even on Halo Reach i have the sensetivity set to 1, but i normally come out on top, but that may have more to do with the dead one being so large with the 360 gamepad.
