RE 6 sounds logical. Remember this “for the….” in the other trailer? Looks like there are 6 lines under it.

I doubt it’ll be the sixth major game. There’s no way they’d announce at the VGAs with obvious teases. That spin-off sounds about right.

Like Erthazus said, nothing has ben mentioned of the PSP game and that was announced at last E3 wasn’t it?

Well, they wanted they’re major games to be yearly churn offs didn’t they. Seems like they’re ready to slap numbers on any bigish resi game.

say a 7 8 and 9 pack, that would be a megaton of epic proportions. gta already gets headlines in mainstream media so thats possible.

as for RE collection, thats possible it is a worldwide franchise as it mgs. i wouldnt rule them out entirely but odds on, its not likely i’ll admit

i suggest the RE collection for this specific thing.
The other 3 as sony next day thing. I’m pretty sure if its the Final Fantasy Collection, say with 7 8 and 9. the internet would explode especially for a hd remake of 7.

hell if such a collection exists then maybe that would mean final fantasy 7 hd 3d remake.

MGS though wouldnt have the same effect as FF it would still be pretty big, say MGS 1 2 and 3 collection in hd, and 3d.

GTA always gets coverage from the main media outlets, pretty much everytime now, so if this was announced, at least when announced and when its to come out the media would go into a frenzy, so free publicity with that.

A proper HD remake of 7, maybe. But not for just a ‘classics’-style upscaley makeover.

@blerk most people i talk too only want that kind of remake for 7, they dont want SE to fuck it up by making it ‘new’ if recent releases are anything to go by i bloody agree SE output this gen has been woeful.

its only the MGS and Final Fantasy Collections i’ve heard rumors of though, the other 2 are guesses.

The trouble with doing just an upscale of FF7 would be that everything’s so low-poly to begin with it would still look awful – you may as well just be playing the PSOne Classics version that’s already available.

If they’re going to do it then they have to properly remake it or it makes no sense. In my opinion, of course.

i understand your point and can somewhat agree but if you look at SE output this gen the only good games have been handheld ones, that says alot. besides if they are doing that collection, it wouldn’t be the prettiest of games true but it would be coming with 8 and 9 too.

i just hope the final fantasy collection is not 10, 10-2 and 12, ugh only 10 is good out of those 3

@blerk well theres no set rule that classics hd have to be ps2 games as far as i know, and i’m sure sony and SE are well aware they’d sell more of a 7,8 and 9 pack than they would of 10, 10-2 and 12.

Especially in light of the lack of back compat in contempoary PS3′s and the spotiness of the PCSX2 emulator.

@blerk you didnt miss much, its was pretty much fully linear and that non linear section was linerized too. its a poor game tbh. SE fell for the trap alot of devs do Graphics over Substance
