Report – Channel Five in talks to bring Demand Five to PS3

Friday, 19th November 2010 11:21 GMT By Johnny Cullen

According to Media Week, Channel Five is in talks about bringing its Demand Five service to PS3.

The service allows users to catch up on programs airing on the channel, such as Neighbours, CSI and Home & Away.

Already, the service is available to view on PS3 via the web browser, but Five says it wants to bring in an branded application to the console to bring in a bigger audience.

Already, the BBC has its iPlayer service on PS3, with ITV following suit. Channel 4 is also apparently in talks about bringing its 4oD service too.

Thanks, Digital Spy.

    Dear Channel 5,

Nobody wants your shoddy, fuck awful television in any shape or form.

For those of you not from the UK, Channel 5 is basically the lowest of the low in tv channels. They show shit shows all the time with not even a hint of quaility about them. They are an insult to the televison world. So basically you are not missing anything if this goes ahead.

@4, Gadget Show is crap. All they ever show is things Iv seen a year earlier and they have stupid challenges and overhype them with ridiculous commentary as if its a life or death situation.

If you want to watch a good tech program, watch Click on BBC. You can already iPlayer it as well.
