EA’s just announced the demo for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was downloaded by more then 2 million people within two weeks.

EA’s called the demo “the fastest downloaded Need for Speed demo in history.”

The company’s also provided more stats to the demo, such as:

  • More then 700k posts on the Speedwall
  • More then 5 million recomendations from friends on Autolog
  • 54 million road miles were raced
  • 20 million cop busts took place

Reviews started coming in for the Criterion racer yesterday. It’s looking pretty neat for it right now.

Game’s out next week for PS3, 360, Wii and PC.

Why’ve you turned it off already, you buggers? I was going to have another go at it last night and it won’t let you play it now – the game’s not even out!

Funny that it’s still advertised on PSN. If you download it today you’ll be downloading 1.5gb of nothingness….lol, totally retarded.

I liked the demo, only thing I hated was the ridiculous soundtrack.

I downloaded it last night. 1,3 GB’s worth of two minute trailer, yay!
