Dead Space 2: Ring Around the Rosie video is creepy as hell

deadspace2train

EA has put out a new video for Dead Space 2, and it honestly creeps us out a bit.

In a good way, though.

It’s bad enough the lady is singing a nursery rhyme in a creepy manner, but the subway sequence in the game itself show in the video, looks like it will be a harrowing experience.

We can’t wait.

Watch for yourself below, courtesy of Gamespot.

Dead Space 2 is out in January.

Damn! That was creepy. I had my doubts when you told me it was gonna be scary, it’s a trailer after all, but that had me looking over my shoulder the whole time I watched it…stupid surround sound.

On a side note; the graphics look alot cleaner this time around, more sharper, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing though. One of the thing’s that I loved about the first game was the unique quality of the graphics.

Wow…. worries that the sequel won’t be as atmospheric as the first have gone

I just can’t read anything about Dead Space games without thinking of this… This has ruined the series for me ;-) http://bit.ly/8ZQja3

Looks cool, but for me it wasn’t that scary. Of course when i see it on my screen(certainly…mucho bigger than a small video on the internet) with surround sound and all that, it’ll be much scarier no doubt.

And with the lights off…of course, haha.

So the first one had Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and this one has Ring Around the Rosie? I was unaware nursery rhymes played such a big part in the franchise, but whatever. Game looks awesome.

On another note: Whats up with the shoddy picture you’re using at the top?

Yawn. So i guess it will be just as predictable as the first one. This is the typical “basic rules on how to make a scary-atmospheric-trailer.”

Pretty yawn-yawn.

I’ve still not got around to playing the first one yet. It’s on my shelf unopened. =/

@14… Do it, it’s fantastic, played through 4 times on PS3 and got it on PC on a sale. It is one of the best games of this generation in my opinion.

Get to it, it’s really good! And make sure you play all the way through the game using only the plasma cutter like a real man! :-D
