This is what NFS: Hot Pursuit looks like on Wii

Amazon’s posted up the first official shots of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit on Wii.
Looks a lot like Need for Speed: Nitro, doesn’t it?
There’s more over on GAF.
NFS: Hot Pursuit on Wii from Exient will launch alongside the PS3, 360 and PC versions from Criterion on November 16 in the US and November 19 in the UK.
Thanks, GoNintendo.

Bullshit seriously. It’s laziness all over the place. Who will buy this is another sheep that needs to be ripped off (like a Kinect consumer)

EA are stepping up to try to take on the venerable might of the Micro Machines franchise, on it’s home turf. Clash of the racing titans, commence!

Is it just me or are games getting even less good visually on Wii as time goes on or do devs realise the audience and put in less effort. I mean have you seen the Goldeneye advert on UK TV is looks horrendous….

So much rampant elitist bullshit turding up this posts.
Game looks awesome, especially considering the hardware its running on. My nephew would love this.

@15 Well, thank fuck I’m not an elitist jerk like yourself then, eh?
Lets not forget that when Sonic and Mario and Crash Bandicoot were all the rage, many of us were kids. It’s amazing how much becoming an adult screws a lot of people’s perspectives of things.

“Game looks awesome, especially considering the hardware its running on.”
No wonder you’re casual player and like kinects or junk that this industry don’t need.
Yeah such an awesome graphics for the hardware.
http://cubemedia.gamespy.com/cube/image/article/542/542404/need-for-speed-underground-2-20040826105346323_640w.jpg that is on the hardware that is not so powerful as a Wii.

@17 You’re an idiot.
I’m many things, but a casual gamer is most certainly not one of them: http://raptr.com/MichaelOConnor
I’m just capable of appreciating both sides of the market for their benefits and the basic enjoyment they provide, instead of being an elitist, fanboyish knob.

What exactly am I “butthurt” about, junior? You seem to have a problem understanding what the word butthurt means.

I REALLY hope you guys realise a lot more goes into a games development that the graphics? Right? Guys?
Seriously, prehaps you are right and the games on Wii are getting worse…is that because prehaps developers are getting lazy? Maybe. I suspect it is because they realise who is probably going to buy this game: Mum and Dad. And who is going to play this game: Little Billy.
At the end of the day, Little Billy doesn’t get nerd boners over anti-aliasing or HD textures or parallax occlusion mapping or volumetric lighting…he gets excited when the car goes NNEEOOOWWWWWWWWW!!!

Michael O’Connor, “You’re an idiot.”
Explain this. You said twice (this time and in the another thread) that because you are butt hurted.
“I’m many things, but a casual gamer is most certainly not one of them: http://raptr.com/MichaelOConnor”
Nothing special. A typical Casual Gamer. But i’m really surprised about Bad Company 2. Kudos to that.
Hardcore or Casual Gamer is not because of how much time you spent on playing, sir.
“I’m just capable of appreciating both sides of the market for their benefits and the basic enjoyment they provide”
Everyone is capable of appreciating any kind of products. but stop being a TWAT showing everybody how your ass is so high and mighty because you are going to experience a shitty game|peripheral.
“instead of being an elitist, fanboyish knob.”
Judging by your ridiculously shitty review on Vanquish i must say that you are a fanboy knob.
and i’m not a fanboy, i just don’t care. Schwing!
@Callum,
“At the end of the day, Little Billy doesn’t get nerd boners over anti-aliasing or HD textures or parallax occlusion mapping or volumetric lighting…he gets excited when the car goes NNEEOOOWWWWWWWWW!!!”
you are awesome
but this is a news site for gamers and this news posted here to show US gamers what they are up to the Wii.
Thats why this shit is going on..

Oh, and don’t write reviews, they suck. That review btw shows why game journalism sucks ass these days.
Every Dickenson can write the review and think he is so smart.

@26 Yeah, you see, the difference here is I actually manage to get paid for it.
What exactly does my writing have to do with any of this anyway? We’re talking about the quality of a racing game and gamer’s snobbish dismissal of casual gaming here.

@ O’Conner. You can’t really dismiss a gamer as a troll because their not estatic over a casual system. And, neither can a gamer dismiss the fun in a casual game. For a gamer its about evolution in gaming. Some of us have been playing these games for decades and like to see heavy progression in said gaming. Myself being one of those gamers.
But, I also can understand the usage and need for the casual market. Its like a. Introductory to the gaming community. I come across plenty of people who just don’t understand or fathom the things we do and accomplish as gamers. The work and lack of bathroom breaks we endure to get the high score or prove we are as good as the guy ahead of us. All they can simply understand is A&B and barely a D-pad.
Its not a crime being a casual gamer we all started out as one. But, there is by far no problem with being a hardcore gamer seeking further advancement. The insult’s are meaningless on both sides.

If the majority are casual players, why not target a casual audience with casual graphics
