Mafia II dev diary details Empire Bay
A third developer diary for Mafia II has been released, where the developers chat a bit about the city of Empire Bay.
According to the developers, Empire Bay is a combination of different cities and locales across the States.
While it may look like New York or Chicago in some parts, you can see a little of small-town America prevelent within the neighborhoods.
The video also talks about some of the characters just coming home from WWII, and how they are trying to rebuild their lives.

Mafia II releases on August 27 for PS3, 360 and PC.

I notice that it doesn’t seem to look as good as it used to. The E3 gameplay videos looked much more impressive. Ah well, the atmosphere does seem very good, which is definitely a big deal. But not even close to how it looked last year during Gamescom, sadly.
