NHL 11 gets first, giant screens

Here we go. EA just put out the first screens of NHL 11, apparently favouring “enormo” format.

The game releases later this year for PS3 and 360, and will feature:

Ability to play with all 60 teams that make up the CHL

Names and Likenesses of players that are on the rosters of a CHL team

Mastercard Memorial Cup

CHL new RBK Edge Jersey design in NHL 11

WHL, OHL and QMJHL logos and league structures

We’ve no idea what any of that means, but what the hey. Check out the girth on this lot.

The biggest addition to this game is that its now completely physics based so if a smaller player was to skate full speed into a big defender then the impact will send the smaller guy flying

I didn’t like NHL 10 at all.. it felt like they slowed the game down a shit ton compared to NHL 09.. I ended up trading it in after like a month.

I hope it’ll be a major upgrade this time. NHL are great games though! They deserve to be sold as much as FIFA, become the NHL games are even better imo
