Deus Ex: Human Revolution coming early 2011, new trailer rocks fucking socks

Deus Ex Human Revolution

Update: Check out some screens of the game pulled from the video over on Eurogamer France.

Original: Square Enix has released a brand new CGI-filled trailer of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Hot shit? Not even close.

You can get it below. Eurogamer’s also gone live with an interview with game director Jean-Francois Dugas.

It is bloody awesome. Go give it a whizz. It shows the game takes place in Montreal, Detroit and Shanghai. Again, awesome.

The end of the trailer confirms an early 2011 release date for the Eidos Montreal-developed title for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

PC purchase for me. 1080p and a boat load of AA on the big TV. Nice.

Plus you can pretty much guarantee the modding community will go to town on it.

Always have been. More so as each generation goes on and the difference in performance between PCs and consoles get bigger. My graphics card alone has > 5x the performance of a PS3.

The only reason I generally go for console versions of games these days is if I want to play some co-op or multiplayer with my friends.

True. Plus PC platform isn’t half bad when I can connect my DS3 up to it. I might just do the same thing as you….oh wait trophies shit! :P

no not really I kinda lost interest so yea I might start buying more PC games that are well known for that platform.

The original Deus Ex was ported to consoles right? Back on PS2 if I’m not mistaking. Gotta start using this PC for something else other than terrorizing VG247.

Those screens that Hunam linked to look like shit though.

Yeah, it got ported a couple of years after release to the PS2. I can’t say I’m too impressed by those screens either, will wait for the full on max resolution stuff to come later before forming a proper opinion though.

Just used Youtube Downloader to get it. My harddrive just had to be graced with the brilliance of this trailer.(Quality is truly outstanding with VLC).

P.S If you wanna know who’s scoring the game: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/109/1094878p1.html

Now this is how a true sequel should be done! Not like the crap we see today with Gears of War and Assassins Creed.

@ 25 and 47

Exactly. I’ll eat my socks if Detroit looks like that in 17 years.
