APB FAQ shows July 2 EU release date, June 29 launch for US

APB is to launch on July 2 in Europe and June 29 in the US, according to the FAQ section on the game’s website.
The RealTime Worlds action MMO was already down for a Q2 FY2011 release, which is July-September of calendar 2010.
The game’s mysterious price-plan has also been set, with 25 hours of play-time included in the game and additional time to cost £5.59/$6.99 for 20 hours or £7.99/$9.99 for 30 days.
Discounts will be available for those who wish to buy 90- or 180-day subscriptions. You can also convert in-game RTW points to game-time.
This is all unconfirmed at the moment from EA, but we’ll follow-up right now.

This is interesting; you need to be logged into the server to do character and equipment customisation.
Is that counted as play time?

So you’d have to pay money every time you wanted to make your characters tits bigger?

No chance, it’s not even nearly finished yet. If they release it that early it will be a shambles.

From the Develop piece on the same news:
“The standard version of the title is priced at £34.99 and includes an estimated 50 hours of gameplay out of box, plus unlimited time in the APB social districts customising, socialising and trading on the marketplace.”
So the paid gameplay time only counts toward the shooty-shooty bangbang part of the game.

Anyone care to remind me what RTW points are?
