Phenomenal showing by God of War III. I wondered in the 3 year between games may be put some people off of the franchise but Sony didn’t an excellent job with the marketing of this title.

It’s nice to see the series finally getting the recognition that it deserves. The PS2 games were amazing considering the hardware, but they never really had the sales to back it up. They sold well, sure, but not nearly as well as perhaps they ought to have.

The fact that the PS3 install base is much smaller than the PS2 one was makes it even more impressive.
