PlayStation Move gets screened

Move 3

SCEA’s released a fair bit of screens for PlayStation Move.

Get them after the break.

After weeks and months of speculation, Sony finally named the controller last night at its off-site pre-GDC press conference last night.

A whole slew of titles for the controller was announced, which you can find here.

Get everything rounded-up from last night here.

Move is set for release this fall.

Yay, nun chucks, so relieved they are offering that. :)

Nice design, even the daft looking glowing ball is starting to look like a natural fit with the controller.

It still looks like a comedy sex aid.

You just know that somebody somewhere is looking at sticking a rumble pack in that thing…

Does it not rumble already? I just surmised that it would.

You’re right Blerk, it does rumble! It would be such a waste if it didn’t. :P

On a second note Sony apparently are perfectly capable of building decent triggers, I see, just left them out of the DS3 design.

At last, this is the next-gen motion control device for which I’ve been waiting! I’m very, VERY excited by this – the controller looks perfect and I can already think of several unique ideas for core games now made possible by this new device.

Move looks like a far more practical, realistic solution than Natal (which looks terrible, IMHO). Where Natal constrains developers by having to work around the device’s lack of inputs, Move looks like it will allow developers to be even more creative by offering super-precise motion control coupled with traditional console controls that don’t appear just bolted on. I’m really looking forward to seeing what all the third-parties have in store.

Day fucking one, can’t bloody wait.

I wonder why they didn’t make the “Move” buttom R1 and the T button R2…
