First dev diary for PS Motion Controller is live

Arc

Gamespot‘s just put live the first developer’s diary for the PlayStation Motion Controller.

Get it after the break.

The video shows Richard Marks and Anton Mikhailov of SCEA playing about with a couple of prototype demos, as well as stuff seen last year at E3.

We’re still waiting on Sony to possibly release details on the controller, such as its name, price and date. As soon as we get any information, we’ll let you know.

SCEA exec Patrick Seybold told VG247′s Stephany Nunneley last week the controller will be “promoted” with an “aggressive approach”.

The hardware – codenamed Arc thus far – is set to release for fall.

“That is why NATAL fails in comparison!”

Even though they’re *completely different* devices?

Okay then.

They both look awesome. They both have great potential.

Well, at least they no longer look like legally blind 14 year olds fumbling with a bra like they did at E3.

Yes I am serious, Natal Claims it will try to keep Hardcore crowd as well, but its using what? 15-20 Percent, there is on screen lag…. shit.. what hardcore games can you get with that? how will you walk and shoot a gun with natal? sounds great, but NATAL will become a casual gamers choice for monkey balls adventure clubs.

After these demos i’m now starting to think… How precise is Natal with its camera.

Demos are impressive but i want games, games, games, games.

Well, it seems to work pretty well. And yet…. no enthusiasm whatsoever. Do not want.
