Microsoft remains tight-lipped over October date for Natal

natal

Microsoft’s given a no comment over a potential October release date for Project Natal, saying “it remains scheduled for Christmas 2010.”

Earlier this morning, TV presenter Jonathan Ross tweeted about an “October” release for the motion camera after seeing it in action at an event last night.

Microsoft’s having none of it, though.

“There have been no further announcements on the release date of Project Natal,” a rep told VG247 earlier this morning. “it remains scheduled for Christmas 2010.”

The only confirmed date so far for Natal is “Holiday 2010″, given by the firm at CES back in January.

There’s no need for them to worry. It’s all free advertising, no matter what date it gets released.

Jonathan Ross would never put his foot in it by saying something he shouldn’t.

“it remains scheduled for Christmas 2010.”

Seems pretty clear to me…?

If they’re wanting to pack it in with the Christmas SKUs then it’ll have to be pretty much done by October otherwise they’re going to miss the prime Christmas shopping periods.
